December 2004: CES graduate Edward Dalcour publishes a new book: A Definitive Look at Oneness Theology: Defending the Tri-Unity of God (University Press). This book critically examines the claims of Oneness theology (i.e., the "Jesus only" groups) in light of biblical exegesis. It provides a solid exegetical refutation against the anti-Trinitarian teachings of Oneness theology while affirming the biblical presentation of God existing as three distinct coequal, coeternal, and coexistent Persons or Selves.Mr. Dalcour is the Director of the apologetics ministry, “Department of Christian Defense.” He earned his Master of Apologetics degree with CES earlier this year. We wish to congratulate him on his new book.

Wanting to see how well Luke would do academically before moving him into regular student status, TEDS placed him on probationary status. Here is Luke's report on his situation:

I thought I would pass on a brief update. In early February, I received a letter from the Academic Dean at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. In the letter he told me that based on my Fall '03 grades, he was removing the probationary status from my student file. It was really encouraging to have that status removed. I had up to two semesters to get my GPA to an acceptable level (2.0). I am grateful to the Lord that at the end of the Spring semester my GPA was up over 3.5. You and CES did an excellent job preparing me for this step!
